Are there any tests a doctor can do/request for testosterone levels in a male patient?

Ive posted here before about my concern over my 'moobs' (even typing this causes me distress) but I'm sure my hormone levels arnt what they should be.
Ive had several blood tests over the years, the last one being about 6 months ago, and every time they come back as relatively normal except my liver which indicates that some *level' is abnormal but within an acceptable range. NO GP that ive seen has ever been able to expand on this and brushes me of with 'nothing to worry about'...even though they don't know what it is or what it means. (obviously a specialist subject). And totally ignoring the fact that I'm concerned about a medical anomaly that affects my mental health (for which they prescribe pills that probably exacerbate my situation)...

If the tests are considered normal maybe what you need is counselling to ease your anxiety. And look into liposuction if necessary ?
The doctor should test for oestrogen in your blood not lack of testosterone. You could be oestrogen dominant due to different reasons
Overweight men produce more oestrogen owing to the extra body fat and the enzyme in fat cells called aromatase. This converts testosterone, leading to a bit of a catch 22.The fatter you are, the more oestrogen you produce and the more oestrogen you produce the fatter you get
Cannabis, amphetamines, alcohol abuse and heavy steroid use are all other factors too.
I would see your GP again and explain how this is affecting yu emotionally

Don't let's get too technical here but let us look at the facts.
You have breasts.....and we all can understand your concern.
Blood tests, including the liver function tests will have ruled out a pathological cause (disease)and these tests will include you testosterone level and the less important oestrogen levels.
So......you breast enlargements are almost certainly...physiological...that is there is no organic cause for your problems.
That is what we know about you from your posting.
I agree with the post of O_G 21.16.
Nailit, the solution to your gynaecomastia may be as simple as giving up alcohol and making a conscious effort to lose weight.
