Tomato Bleach Spray Calculation Using 13% Bleach.
1 Answers
i got this usable recipe for tomato spray against blight
6% chlorox of 207ml mix with 3.78l water to spray on tomato and plants that is proven to be effective.
but i have 13% chlorox only.
how to calculation this ? can someone show me detail how to do it ? my brain is rusty.
i however have from the recipe above calculated that
1ml of 100% chlorox is to 320ml water.. that s the actual chlorox to water ratio that plant can take.
how do it plug in my above 100% chlorox recipe into calculation of 13% chlorox ?
appreciate it if anybody can help.

You have more chlorex than you need. The easiest thing would be to simply not use all the clorex but use 6/13 ths of it.
If you must use it all then you need to increase the other parts of the mix by *13/6 (or *2.167).
As for the second bit, I'm not 100% clear what you have done but if you have used 100% and should have used 13% then you need to add to the other ingredients (presumably just water) by *100/13 (or *7.692).
Hope that is of use.
