My notes on paper get blurred with time due to humidity.Is there a way to prevent that happening.I write a lot so using expensive special ink is is not helping. currently I use sealed bags to put my notes.Is there a way to restore damaged notes?

I have never experienced this , what sort of ink and paper are you using? I still have written work from when I was at school in the 1960s. Museums have hand written paper documents from hundreds of years ago still not blurred. It also occurs to me that storing the notes in sealed bags may even make the problem worse as any moisture will be retained rather than drying out. Do you live in an area with very high humidity?

Silica Gel inside your sealed bags may help. It's commonly packed with photo equipment etc in a small sachet which can be heated to re-vitalise it.

Are you using a water based ink pen ? I'd have thought ballpoint would have thicker ink. Or there's always the pencil.

I imagine that the conditions you live in are not a normal house - is it a tank party full of waiter ? Surely you need to acquire somewhere fit for human habitation, the ink running because the paper is wet is a symptom of substandard accommodation.

^ I was thinking it is more a problem of excessive humidity rather than anything to do with the paper or ink. You must have other problems such as mould , rot or damp as well as the paper problem. You need to sort out the humidity which does not sound normal.

Buy a laptop. Then your notes will be stored electronically and will not fade.

I have friends who live in Bermuda and humidity is a big problem there.
Can you not use plastic storage containers which have an airtight lid, and keep a bag of silica inside, also write in Biro.

To enhance existing texts would need someone versed in forensics.

Going back to the original question, we need more info on this special ink you're using as EDDIE51 said before we can assist. Please provide the brand name.

With regard to the high humidity, have you considered a dehumidifier. Consider using the dehumidifier in one room and storing your notes as well as writing them in the same room. You should not need plastic bags to store your notes with an efficient dehumidifier in situ.
