How can you make sure something isnt a fake or a imitation?
When shopping in HK there are loads of products you can buy for cheaper. But alot of the times they are just imitations and fakes, and i dont mean just handbags, watches. It can even be makeup, beauty products... even PORE STRIPS >_<
How can you make sure that your buying the real deal. Cos the packaging is done well and even the bottle its in the leaflet that comes inside with the product.

Basically, as far as I recal, if you're buying it at DeadMan's disco or Sham Shoie Po then it's a fake.....
Other than that it probably is if it doesn't cost the same.
From my experiences, I'm still attracted to cheap immitations- I've been scarred quite clearly. Those were the days, 10 Fila T SHirts for tupence H'penny. Cool
I lived in HK for the first 20 years of my life and have lots of experience with fakes. Loads of products are not fakes, e.g pore strips. They are just cheap versions of the more expensive brands. I used to go around Causeway Bay for makeup and clothing, there are cheaper stores there stocking loads of stuff. If you want quality and brand name products you will have to go to the Department Stores, e.g. SOGO. But be prepared to pay alot for something which down road is far less expensive. It just depends whether you need quality products or you are ok with what HK offers - giving you a choice of products for anyone to buy.
