I am after a sumptuous gilt mirror for my living room. As big as possible costing as little as possible!
Any ideas where to find one. have looked on net but either really expensive or look boring.

Some of the larger ones stock supplies of mirrors, including a selection of gilt edged ones which don't cost the earth. The other places to look are junk shops, antique shops and car boot sales (although the latter are probably ending now that the Muddy Field season is about to begin.
Surely if you were after a 'sumptuous' gilt mirror you have to be prepared to pay out some money?
I sold my Mum's old mirror to an antique mirror specialist not so long ago . He was practically drooling over it when he saw it and gave me what I though was good price.
That said, these items are not cheap; but I know what I would rather have and that is a bona fide antique mirror, rather than something straight from China.
