44 Answers
A lady with a sponge and a squeezy bottle , proceeds to 'clean' your windscreen , while you are stationary at traffic lights .
She then holds her hand out for her payment
Do you place a pound coin in her hand or keep your windows wound up ?
Several drivers this morning were taking the second option .

Bainbrig, if someone came and cleaned your house windows then knocked on your door demanding £10 would you say' there son/luv take it" ?
Its aggressive begging and also could be linked to modern day slavery. How do you know this 'poor man/woman' will actually see any of the money given to them?

Sqad that is very naive and hopefully written with tongue in cheek. Modern day slavery is rife especially in car valeting. That poor woman may have had to hand over her money and then been thrown into a shed to sleep, or worse sent out on the streets to work in the sex trade.. But hey ho -you'll have a clean windscreen.
AL....LOL.....you have a point....but in my lifetime i have seen everything........genocide, famine, rape, sodomy, child sexual abuse, homosexuality now legal, ever town has a University for all, food banks..........so to worry about where a quid goes for a clean windscreen doesn't bother my deeper emotions too much.
