My Daughter and I went for a spa day at a local hotel/leisure centre.
In the steam room there were lots of small insects crawling over the tiled area we were sitting on - predominantly on the area at the bottom, so around where our calves would be when sitting. What kind of insects could survive in a hot wet steam room?! This is in Scotland in December. Weird!

You should have asked the hotel staff. I couldn't have coped with that. Horrible!
What did they look like?
Silverfish?

Tilly2, I informed staff when I left. They said they would get a member of staff to check.

Calibax, I didn't have my specs on so couldn't see them in detail. Just seen them moving around. My Daughter said that they looked a bit like midges.. I've sent her an image of a silverfish to see if it could have been that.

Complain again tomorrow, if you don't get your money back, then maybe a free session or two, if you want to go back, after you have told the company you are thinking of report to local health inspector. I would report it anyway and get refund
