pAara one - define price sensitivity - which is ones chosen according tp price and not need
ensuing para: examplles _ I can only think of teeth whitening
and then why
people will tend to choose them if insured
which will be because they dont have to pay
and why the insurance companies wd be the relative losers - more people choose and more people choose the expensive ones

oh dear woof you clearly DIDNT pay attention to the appalling boring lectures available on the financing of the NHS
no insurance companies: no afferent loop where you are assessed for insurance: and therefore up to the seventies incredibly cheap to run as there was no costs to the pay side.
I think the OP thinks we are an essay mill - free !

Funny story about those lectures PP. When I was a junior therapist I applied to do courses on finance for non financial managers as part of my career development plan . I was told no as I was too junior to need them. A year later through a series of events, I was a head of department and again (I thought I should) I applied for the same courses...and was told no as I was too senior to need them.
