Not sure which section to put this in, so if it doesnt belong here then sorry. I have just dyed my hair and the bit on instructions about allergic reactions said 'If you are tattooed you are more likely to experience an allergic reaction' Why would this be? Thanks

Because the process of tatooing introduces dye into the skin. This dye may act as an allergen to your immune system. If it does, your body will create antibodies against the allergen.

The next time this allergen or a similar allergen is introduced to the body (in this case the hair dye), the body would recognise it and fight it with antibodies and immunglobulins etc ie an allergic reaction.
