Tree Of Life

R&S died when Theland did. I miss him.
Unfortunately, that's the nature of reality.
We all cease to exist at some point,
Plant, animal or human. We all die and cease to exist!
(Why humans believe that we don't is a mystery to me)
BUT, To believers in eternal life,
Just what was the point of planting a tree of eternal life in
the Garden of Eden?
I really would like to know?
Its the lesser know tree. (After the tree of knowledge of good and evil)
How often would Adam & Eve have to partake of it?
Would they have died anyway if they refused to have eaten?
After they were expelled from the Garden of Eden, was it still there?
And what happened to the Angel who guarded the Garden of Eden with a Fiery sword
Was he drowned in Noahs flood, along with the magical tree of life?
And why is there no mention of a such a magical tree in heaven
(Book of Revelation for example)
Do we not have a choice to live forever once we are dead by eating from a tree of life?
Its almost as if its ALL orchestrated by God and we don't have a say.

Lucifer started out as an archangel but decided to use his freedom of choice to attempt to elevate himself beyond God's perfect design for him. Isaiah 14:14 "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
Adam and Eve started out with dominion over all creation but used their freedom of choice to commit the original sin and thus also settle for less than God's perfection. Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
Today we are also given freedom of choice and the opportunity to succeed. By raising Christ from the dead, God confirmed His authentic plan for victory over death. Acts 17:31 "...he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
God's perfect design is for each of us to accept salvation and gain an in-depth knowledge of the truth. Using our freedom of choice, we can claim a life of success filled with God's perfection. II Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

People here use the section for different reasons, nailit. You 'bait' and frankly, that comes over quite aggressively and probably sends many of the religious running for the hills; Goodlife et al are here only to preach and, in my opinion, are abusing the site; Theland was consumed with 'prophecy' and posted so relentlessly and repetitively about it that eyes regularly glazed over - and some, like me, prefer to discuss the history, the psychology, and the dubious veracity, and rationality or otherwise of religion and its literature. Hopefully the section hasn't died. Perhaps a few questions on related topics and from different angles would give it a boost?
