if you just chew food, but dont actually swallow it, do you still get any/some/what percentage of the calories? I am on a diet, and really fancy a pork pie, but just the taste. If i didnt swallow it do you reckon i could get away with it? (lost a stone so far)

I would avoid such a step, and carry on with your diet so far, as it seems to be working. A diet needs to be a lifelong change in your eating habits, and sucking the juice from food is not really a realistic substitute, as you would not be changing your desires. I'm no expert, so don't take me too seriously.
