A Night Away!
3 Answers
We decided to take up a travelzoo offer of a night away, very good value.
£99 for the two of us, cream tea, dinner, bed and breakfast, including £25 each towards dinner. At a hotel in Winchcombe.
When we got there this evening they couldn't find the booking. Luckily we had the printout with us. They had no room available so put us up in the hotel nextdoor. Went back to the original hotel for food, it was pouring with rain when we went for dinner. Food was wonderful, we both had whitebait starter. OH had half chicken, chips and veg. I had duck legs a Sauce and potatoes and veg. Couldn't eat it all.
Then back to other hotel in pouring rain.
Then management said they had found the original booking, said not worth moving so will stay here.
Read papers, watched a bit of tv.
Tomorrow we will have a look at Evesham and Broadway. Bring back memories of a while back when we lived in Warwick and these were regular
