"We've been trying that for many years, wolfy. Doesn't work for a number of reasons (not least because there are far too many of those inhabitants) so we might as well try something else."
I really think that we've got a better chance of making a habitable planet by starting off improving the one we've already got, rather than attempting to turn a chunk of airless scorching rock into a nice place.

Good to see they're trying something, even though it's a bit of a case of, "We've been there, done that".
Bit weird though that the evening news seemed to think it was important that "a woman" and "a person of colour" was to be sent to the moon. Like gender or skin colour (no matter how stupidly described) could possibly matter. Perhaps it's vital they send all of LGBTQQIP2SAA just so no one is left out.

Using rocket propulsion is a hopeless way ot trying to escape from this planet, never mind our solar system. The yanks have been bragging for years about their reverse engineering of UFO's and nothing overt has emerged from it. I'm sure they are working hard, inspired by their observations of UAP's, but they're a bit like the Cargo Culture people who thought that making wooden imitations of hadphones and levelling patches of forest would attract gods from above.
