Ukraine has called on the US to stop moaning about attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, warning that war often causes global prices to rise, and if President Joe Biden wishes to be re-elected then he needs to ensure sufficient resource is sent to end the war quickly.

I know: the story is only in the FT and I'm sceptical about it. I wonder if it's more a question of Graham saying "Hey higher oil prices will help us win the election" and people like Jake Sullivan saying "Hey higher oil prices won't help us: want Donald Trump?" Either way anything more would be a bit much.

His efforts to do so are currently being blocked by the Republicans in Congress (at the behest of the stable genius).
