Love at First sight???
Does anyone actually believe that this is possible - to fall in love at first sight? if so, how does this happen? is it just one of them OMG moments or is it really just a lust thing? ... or does it just get confused with a really huge sparky chemistry between the 2 people? rather than a love thing? anyway any suggestions or ideas on the subject would be greatly appreciated... whether for or against this idea. Oh and i do hope I have explained what i mean... not so good on the old communicado but i try thank u for ur replies xxx
PS - not necessarily love at first sight but having met them a couple of times briefly do you think its possible for an individual to have a really good feeling about this person i.e. its just a meant to be thing?

But i am definitely not in love with her... what i know of her i really like and would like to get to know her much better.... as theres a definite spark and chemistry between us both...and i was just thinking you know what... sometimes its just good to do what feels right and throw caution to the wind and sod everything else!
However on the subject of love at first sight someone i used to work with said she knew as soon as she saw her husband in a pub she used to go to ... she knew straight away that this was the guy she was going to marry... and in a way i can kind of understand that sometimes you just get a good feeling about things and you just have to go with them.
From past experience i have always followed my initial gut feeling and most of the time i went against it even though it was telling me - no this person isnt right for you - but this time with this girl ive met it feels right... and its been such a long time since i had a good feeling about someone so im just so incredibly happy about it... even tho it wouldnt be plain sailing cos of the complications!
I believe in lust at first sight, but not love. I think love is so much deeper than the purely visual and you can find yourself falling in love with a man/woman that you may have only shown a passing interest in at first sight and conversely, someone who looks a corker can be such a disappointment when you spend any degree of time with them.
As you've met this person a couple of times, I would still say you're in that excitable lust stage and when that becomes love, who can say? That confusion and uncertainty is part of the beauty of the whole thing.
It's a lovely feeling isn't it??
Never bothered much with relationships, would wretch at the mere prospect of being part of a couple.
However, this happened to methe love at first sight thing I mean!
It was the most extraordinary thing!
As clichd as it may sound, I literally first encountered this person across a crowed room.
For some reason our eyes locked at exactly the same moment.
Painfully shy as I am, I honestly could not take my eyes off this person whom Id never seen in my life before.
It was a completely surreal experience, and one I could only liken to an overwhelming sense of ecstatic joy and completeness, and a feeling of being at one with this utter stranger.
The strangest thing of all, was the feeling of recognition I had when I first saw him that day.
I felt like I knew him.
Within a week he had approached me (turned out he felt the same) and so began a tumultuous whirlwind of love & tragedy (ours was a complex union to say the least.)
Although together no more, to this day neither of us have experienced anything quite so intense since.
Problem being it was all a bit too intense.
Anyway I scoff no more.
Love at first sight ..? Yes absolutely !!!
Thing is you got to experience it to believe it ;o)
