Anyone watching?  We're half-way through, I think I'm more enthusiastic than Madame. It's more that 20 years since I read  Marquez's novel pioneering, 'magical realism'.

Beautifully photographed & acted, one episode entitled, A Daguerrotype of God.   Wow, !

I tried listening to it on Audible - gave up after the 4th or 5th Aureliano & the arrival of the railway!

I've read it. It was very hard going. I was tempted to quit it but I didn't, and wished I did by the end of it. Netflix could do some fun with it though ...

We watched to final episode last night; absolutely terrific series.

Not easy going and demanding - as was the book, but well worthwhile and a splendid object lesson in the closing stages of 'society',  'politics' & 'power'.
