Kg Ku990 (Viewty) Mobile Phone

The charge port on this phone is damaged so it is not possible to charge the battery. It is easy to extract the battery from the phone (Battery type LGIP-580A). Is there a charger available which would charge the battery  outside the phone?

It shouldn't cost too much to get the charging port replaced

Thanks Barry1010, i do have that type of charger, but the + and - connects just do not match up properly if that makes sense. I will see about getting the port repaired. I do have an up to date smart phone but the LG KU990 has sentimential value.

There are a few on eBay for less than a tenner, cost more than that to repair yours.

I find all devices that use a data port for charging get loose and cause issues. Worst change they made was to remove dedicated robust charging posts.
