(mass is measured in Kg weight should be measured in Newtons...I know thats not how people do it but it is the correct way.)

The question is very clear and potterfan is correct. No idea what Mrbatfink is getting as a newton is a measure of force, ie the amount of force needed to accelerate one Kilo to 1 metre per second per second it is not a measure of weight.

A Kg is a measure of mass not weight..look it up.

Weight = Mass x Gravity (Gravity being a force...)

Newtons = Kg x 9.81 (rounded off, before you say it is inaccurate)

Weight is measured in force (newtons). Mass is measured in Kg.

Do some homework before you question me.

mrbatfink is right and wrond and so is loosehead. Weight IS a type of force and you are supposed to mesure weight in newtons. Mass is mesuared in KG. However mass stays the same where ever you go but weight dependes on the force being exurted on it. eg image taking a forcemeter to the moon it wouldn't go down as much as on earth. Mass stays the same always, just most scales wont say that on the moon but it is right
