why has my user name just turned from green to black?.is it the omen in the phenomenon or is my pc playing up again?my ink cartridge seems full and i've got plenty free space on my hard drive.

The change from green to black usually means that your gangrene is entering its final stage. It is too late to treat it now, and eventually your user name will just die and drop off. It might be a good idea to have it amputated, as otherwise there is the danger that it will spread to your real name.

That's Clanad, by the way, another one who's been sentenced to about 2.5 x 10^4 posts before remission.

Being from the US, Clanad got stuck here under the "three posts and you're out" (or is that 'in'?) rule that certain US states have. He has been spending his sentence keeping his head down and quietly informing us about anything from the occurence and state of petroleum reserves; to sedimentary features in Palaeozoic strata; and the pitch and yaw of air stewardesses and make-up tips for aircraft. (though I might have got the last two mixed up).

I have this persistent mental picture of the essential geologist brachiopod... he of the everpresent 12 inch handled rock hammer, a 10X magnifying glass in the left front pocket of the plaid, woolen shirt and scuffed, well worn denims tucked casually into the tops of his lace up field boots... Shouting, "Look at the size of this coprolite! It's from the Cambrian!", all the while thinking, "Maybe now I'll be published..." Like his namesake, he is generally patient, but unforgiving of rash imbecility... and wood ticks...

well i find bernardo must be charitable chappy to share his views with the A.B.community,Clanads pitch and yaw views of an air stewardess(is that allowed?)might make some interesting reading..A.B.need to create a new thread..brachipod may become an ally to us all,with a few spare rock hammers in his bag(you've all seen the film i'm sure)it might be the only way out of here. oh;and i dont think i'll be visiting the bike sheds gary baldy cos i aint got a bike arf..how do you get AB parole?does the Ed accept bribes?
