I need help solving this number sequence?

3692, 738, 585, 232, ....

What is the next number in this sequence?

Here is a clue (the difference between the first and second) 3692 to 738 is (3692 divide by 738)

(the difference between the second and the third element) 738 to 585 is (738 divide by 585)

I came up with 46 by the following, which doesn't quite tie in...

369 x 2 = 738
73 x 8 = 584
58 x 4 = 232
23 x 2 = 46
