hello all,
dont know if anyone can give me some advice,
(dont know if i am in the right category)
a close friend as started taking a drug, although he says
he only uses it twice a week, the drug is called speed,
i am worried for him, how dangerous is this drug.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Speed is an amphetamine or methamphetamine.

It can also lead to other substances too (well, it did in my case... I ended up using E for a while until panic disorder set in.. ). Either way, any street drug carries risks as you don't know what the hell the dealer's cut it with.

Speed is an amphetamine and has been used legally and illegally for many years - I called it whizz in the 60s.

Women used to take it to aid weight loss - it makes you very restless and energetic and dulls the appetite.

Ah yes, forgot about the 'shrivelled peanut' effect on male genitalia.... glad I've grown out of that phase! It makes you horny as hell aswell, but unable to perform!
