Can a magnet give you cancer or screw your body up in anyway?
Second: If so how stong would the magnet have to be?
There is a guy selling a Powerful 1" Thick Donut-Shaped Ceramic Magnet STRONG!! on e-bay. How safe would it be to play around with somthing like this?
Here is his description of the magnet: This magnet has an outside diameter of 4 1/2 inches and an inside diameter of 1 3/4 inches and is a whopping 1 inch thick!! Magnet weighs 2 and a half pounds.This magnet is SUPER STRONG: two of these magnets placed face-to-face on a flat surface will interact at a distance of 10 inches!!

It's the strength of them that's important however, less so the size. You main concern is not having two of the magnets near eachother to pull together and catch your finger in between.
