Beach Shaping

I have a cabin and we used to have very sandy beaches and in the last 5 yrs or so the beaches have gotten very rocky. This makes it hard to enjoy the lake as much. We are in a cove and were wondering if there is anything we can do to increase the sand or decrease the rocks.

build a groyne near where you want to create a beach area, this will be an eye saw though and can effect the natural balance of the beach.
