Dinosaur noises

I am posting this in lots of categories to try to get an informed reply!
In the TV programme "Prehistoric Park" there are CGI dinosaurs which make LOTS of noise and I just wondered how accurate that is - I know (before someone points it out) that nobody can know for sure but it seems to me that some of the noise is maybe just for extra drama; I mean lizards etc just hiss a bit. Surely dinosaurs (T Rex etc) didn't ROAR like that???

But think of frogs and geckos, then multiply their vocal abilities to dinosaur size and lung capacity! It's true we'll never ever know - and it's the same for all the imaginative colours and stripes and blotches they're given on TV. I think you've got it when you say it's just to add a bit more drama.
