Beara in mind that Godel showed in 1931 that there were some things wh were true wh cannot be proven (His incompleteness theorem)

Zer0 is a fascinating sum! ! Actually there is no value equal to �zero� in that it only represents a total lack of value, positive or negative. It is, however, a real number, and a rational number although it is not a natural number. Zero is also a whole number but is real only as a number.

Zer0 does not exist in the natural world; it is a concept of method for the purpose of doing math and describing a quantity, in this case a quantity of none. It also serves as a place holder in numbering systems showing that that particular denomination is empty, i.e., no ones, tens, hundreds, whatever.

Zer0 has only been in common use for about 4zerozero years.

To add to Mibn's answer - the Lord Provost of Edinburgh had his official car given the number-plate 'S 0'.
The police told him this was illegal since 0 wasn't a number. He told them to get lost - while 0 represented zero quantity, it was most certainly a number. The police went and looked it up, blushed, and the car still has this number-plate.

1 and 0 are simply symbols for concepts. If we alter the meaning of the symbols , then we can prove anything we choose. If we maintain the concepts of 'something" and "nothing" the proof becomes more difficult. You can't get something for nothing (preservation of matter/energy) but you can get nothing for something (any political election).
