voyager 210 router

i have a voyager 210 adsl router, it is currently run through an ethernet cable.
i need to change this to the usb port so i can connect a philips sound systm, but this needs an ethernet port and i only have one.
i have tried disconecting my router but my pc wont reconise anything else in the ethernet port, can any one help please

Does your router not have more than one ethernet port? If so, you can connect the sound system via one of the additional ports on the router.
