forgive me for being thick but i can't seem to get my head round these, "gran is 26 years older than mum, and mum is 26 years older than tom, if tom is 15, how old is gran ?"
It seemed a very simple sum to me and I made the answer 67. Tom 15, Mum 26 yrs. older so 4l, gran 26 years older than her so surely 67. The roman numeral is only 43 - ten to the left of 50, equals 40 plus 3. Perhaps someone else can see it differently?
I am hopeless at these things and am so pleased for the answer. oops now I'm letting everyone know how thick I am.
Hope you are well
Beautiful weather, hope you all can get out an enjoy it.
