i have been smelling a slight smell of chemicals for the past week or two but there are no chemicals near me. At work, home everywhere. Any ideas?

I suggest that you visit your doctor, it may be a symptom of a brain condition, it is probably nothing, but you must get it checked out.

I heard that people had been eating a certain food which had been infected with a certain chemical and they had been doing silent farts, un-beknown to them they were releasing toxic gases.
But it might not have been anywhere near you...
