Not coffee but chocolate which contains caffeine makes me fall asleep.
If you drink a lot of coffee you may have developed caffeine intolerence. Here the associated effects of caffeine, like sleeplessness, do not affect you to such a great degree. However it may be affecting the quality of your sleep making you feel tired more of the time.
People with a high caffeine intake can experience withdrawal effects when consumption ceases, but it there is also some empirical support to suggest that even persons consuming no more than two cups of coffee a day can suffer from clinically significant headaches, anxiety and fatigue if caffeine is withdrawn from their daily diet.
