The Chicken / egg is not an 'impossible' question. The egg came first, and that's indisputable. (start another thread if you really need the answer explained)
But, more importantly - who put the 'bom' in the bom-bo-bomp-bom-bomp, and who put the 'ram' in the rama-lama-ding-dong?
And if Birds' put the turd in custurd, who put the sh*t in number 10?

The 'Meaning of life' is not a question, it is a tautology encompassing two codependent terms. Without life a dictionary full of words would be meaningless and a life without meaning has no definitive value.
As for questions that are impossible to answer? some interesting answers have already been given. Here are some more questionable answers???
Is it possible to give an answer for which there can be no question?
What is something you have completely forgotten about?
What is the last thing you did, after you did it?
How do you think about nothing at all?
Is it ethical for a man to marry his widows sister?
A few more that can be found here are:
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?
How is it possible to have a civil war?
If God dropped acid, would he see people?
If you try to fail, and succeed, which is it?
Finally, a question I have been pondering ever since the first time I posted an answer on ab . . .

It's only a bit of fun.... I guess I thought about it as my father uses impossible questions and odd saying all the time for example...
He calles a 'hammer' a 'hammer-for'. I guess its to get a reaction of "what's a hammer-for?" to which he replies "To knock nails in!"
He also says the obvious 'how long is a piece of string'.
But another I remembered is "Where was the man when he jumped off the cliff?" No matter what you say i.e. in the air etc... the answer would be "No.. that was after he jumped or before he jumped etc...
I do think that 'the meaning of life is a question though.... maybe I should have put 'WHAT IS the meaning of life?..'
I hate that question anyway, even if you could answer it, it would mean a different thing to everyone!
