I have a copy of a CAT scan which I had recently had. Can I view this on my home dvd player?

Probably. Why not pop it in and give it a try? Then you'll have your answer! :-)
I'd agree with the vic on this
"stick it in and see what happens"
it's stood me in good stead for quite a few years now

seriously ... even with what you read about hospitals lately ... you are unlikely to get a virus from their disc

I'd imagine the output will be one of the standard video formats

If you are sucessful ... perhaps you could put an excerpt on you tube .... then we can all look at your tubes

Thanks, guys, I agree with you. However, Mrs stewey says: "No, you can't do that, you might wreck it and you have to take it to another Doc for him to look at it." Very funny, AC; I liked it:)
most typical DVD players are omnidirectional, meaning they can only show what they see. The guts of the player are not sophisticated enough to register and absorb anything from the DVD... I actually commented on this to someone at our local coroners... she said that with the Sony player they have, which is a bog standard, it plays anything...but for some reason, the Mitsubishi won't. For my money, I'd just give it a try...but don't put it in your laptop...just a dvd player for starters.

Best of luck
