I've just found my aunt has this and I tried Googling it but I can't make head nor tail of the medical jargon.
Can anyone point me in the right direction - links to websites etc? I want to find out a bit more about it.

Jules sorry I only just saw your post hun. We are all a bit in shock especially as she was told recently her symptons were quite harmless.
All that side of my family are big rugby fans and it doesn't help when we have lost a local hero to it recently, having seen him battle a similar illness and sadly lose it.
I am just dreading having to watch her get slowly worse, she is only 60.
