MM Links March [Week 2]
57 Answers
Hello everyone, this is Lady Alex (in person) hoping that this second week goes without a hitch. I am very grateful to gen2 & crofter for covering for me whilst I was enjoying the winter sun in lovely Madeira.
Last week's links were all related to my original and present home areas of Fife and Tayside. Thinking that this perhaps conveyed an unfair advantage to the Scottish contingent on AnswerBank, I thought that this week's theme should centre round other places that I have lived south of the border. After getting married, I joined my then and present husband where his work had taken him in the land of the Sassenachs. Not too far away from home, though, but a devil of a journey by train (always freezing). No cars for us then, not enough money.

I remember walking over the Thames hardly able to believe that a lassie from Fife was actually working here in the Metropolis, seeing all the sights I had read about and seen on TV. Still no cars ( too much traffic) and a long journey home, but not nearly so difficult and never so cold either. Missed the hills, though.
To the business in hand: needless to say, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the same rule as crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each of my selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.
My second set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am. Happy Linking and Good Luck to you all.
