When go to open 'My Document' folder occasionally the system 'pauses' the icons on my desk top & the Task Bar vanishes leaving only the wallpaper. This only lasts a few seconds then the task bar & icons return but having not opened my docs folder. I have checked my system with SPYBOT S&D, Norton Antivirus (with recently updated virus definitions) & Ad-Aware. They find nothing. Any ideas?

maybe you need to run a program that will check/repair your registry - theres a few fre ones (shareware at the most) that can do this.
Sounds like you're short of memory (RAM) or resources (Windows getting tired). You could try something like this: http://www.ramcleaner.net/ or a free prog called 'Wipeout' if you can find it. And there are lots of others.
