If ur breaths are very shallow ...would this lead to less oxygen uptake and deprive some of ur organs (heart, brain) of vital oxygen and result in irreparable damage???

Yes it leads to less oxygen uptake and it can do damage to your innards, ever heard of hypoxia? It is not uncommon among people on narcotics (illegal and prescribed) to suffer from this but like monty0703 says, everyone has different breathing rates and it is best to see the doc and learn about any possible underlying conditions.
