science in business?? Anyone??

hi everyone
just wonderingif anyone could halep me with some coursework for applied science??
i need businesses that employ a scientist daily, any ideas welcome i need 20 in total but they have to be reasonably local to me so Essex please.

if you do that job what would be helpful is a web link or a little info about what you do

How about that technician who works in your science dept at school? Wears a white coat and gets the experiments ready for the teacher? That's one scientist!

How about looking in your local Yellow Pages - that will give you loads of ideas of businesses and whether or not they employ scientists.

You could look for any pharmaceutical firm and any firm using chemicals - including the manufacture of such things as lenses, plastics, foodstuffs(esp dairy). You could also look for any firm with an EPA licence - check the EPA website, they're all listed - as they will need an IPPC co-ordinator who's usually got a science background.
