bluetooth issue

Please help I have a dell laptop inspiron 1520 and am having real probvlems tring to install my blootooth device, Its a Trust BT-2400p UltraSmall Bluetooth 2.0 USB Adapter I get so far installing but then windows says it cannot find the bluetooth device an to ensure its connected and switched on, which it is.. I have tried it on another laptop and it works fine, I checked their control panel against mine an noticed they had a bluetooth icon with bluetooth configuration written under the icon, I dont have this on my panel but i have bluetooth icon and under it says bluetooth devices, which does not let me do anything, please help how do I get the configuration icon to appear in control panel? I run on vista home premium 32bit and the dongle is made for this version...thanks
