If a drug is said to have an MW of less than 20,000, what does that mean? I'm not sure what MW stands for, or what it's measured in or anything!

It stands for Molecular Weight. The unit of measurement is the Dalton.
For further information on this subject, look up "pharmokinetics". It's a fascinating subject.
