Earth revolving around the Sun

I'm no Scientist, but considered the Earth revolves around the sun in a clockwise fashion. What would result if it changed direction and revloved anti clockwise? What implications would this have to the Earth, if any?

if it had always orbited anti-clockwise then it would make little or no difference at all.

If it was to suddenly stop and change direction it may cause one or two problems! not least of them being every ocean on the planet suddenly "sloshing" to one side of the earth.
