I want to run a hot wash through my washing machine with soda crystals to clear the pipes. Will the soda have a reaction to the stainless steel drum? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

that would be fine, though normal detergent with an empty hot wash would do the job as wekll.

If you are in a hard water area, adding one Calgon tablet to the drum for each wash will greatly help keep the pipes clear.
