3 Answers
hi, i get numbness in my tounge, (feels like aa dentist injection) and sometimes it runs through my body as if its running through my blood. last time it happened was in the middle of the night and it ran through my bod and ended up in my foot and kinda got stuck there. i cant focus every time it happens after i get the numbness and i try to say things but cant say what i want to, it just dont come out, then ill get a head ache.
i have a twisted spine and thyroid problems run in my family. i read that these can be something to do with it (but cant find where i read it anywhere). so has anyone any ideas what could be causing my numbness and confusion
when i was a teenager the docs said its just migraines but that was when it wld just b numb tounge and confusion.they also said i couldnt go on the pill because of my migraines
its scary when it happens and i worry ive got a blood clot or having a stroke. im not - but at the time it happens it scares me.

I have suffered with an overactive thyroid from the age of 10 - and had the complete gland removed 3 years ago at the age of 49 (so I am a bit of an expert on thyroid) - I don't think this is related to a thyroid condition. However, it can easily be ruled out with a simple blood test.
Another suggestion, get your teeth checked by the Dentist,
you may have an irregular bite or grinding your teeth in your sleep.
I hope some of this helps.
Good Luck
