Went to a medieval fayre today in Maidstone kent, quite enjoyable, anyway, I saw one of the stallholders wearing a medieval 3/4 length linen or cotton shirt (apparently it was authentic for the period). I asked him where he bought it but he couldn't remember and only gave a vague answer, saying he thought it might be something like stagwear (correct spelling) have looked on the net with no luck does anyone out there have any ideas or, even better belong to a medieval re-enactment society and knows where to source these clothes. sorry for rambling

There are a lot of sites catering to re-enactment societies...but-amazingly-the majority are American!
