if a has a melting point of 53 and a boiling point of 85 is it solid liquid or gas at room temp?

Since the Kelvin (K) scale starts at absolute zero (approx. -273�C) these temperatures are well below normal room temperature. In fact, the standard room temperature of 22�C corresponds to 295K, so the fluorine here would have long since boiled and become a gas.
