A month ago I bought a set of Weight Watchers digital bathroom scales. Since then I have found that they give a different weight every time I step on them even although I am wearing the same clothes. I can't take them back to Argos because, although I still have the receipt I have thrown away the packaging. I'd just like to know why scales record different weights successively and what I can do to prevent this. I wish now I had bought conventional ones.
Thanks to anyone who can help

Same time of day? my weight varies by 2lb from morning to evening. If not you don't need packaging just receipt. You can't be expected to keep all packaging " just in case ".
Are you using the scales on a hard floor? If you have the scales on carpet you will get false readings.
