The 40th anniversary of the first moon landing is only two weeks away. Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon with Neil Armstrong. Now, my question is this: Is Buzz Aldrin the granddad of Buzz Lightyear?

We were talking about the moon landing of 1969 i believe.
so what " scientific discoveries " from that mission or " advanced technology " would you be referring to?
As far as im aware an average laptop is far in advance of anything on the apollo spacecraft , and unless they discovered some advanced technology there then i fail to see how , if at all , the moon landing helped mankind ?

I'm puzzled, because:

1. Why are NASA planning to send a robot to the Moon in 2020, if they had the technology to send humans there 51 years earlier?

2. Why do the Japanese think that they will not be able to put a man on the Moon until 2030? Is Japanese technology really 61 years behing the Americans.

3. Do Governments ever lie?
