Science is subdivided into two categories

- Natural sciences, the study of the natural world, and
- Social sciences, the systematic study of human behaviour and society.

Psychology is a Social Science.

Scientific method is applied to acquiring new knowledge in Psychology. Use of observation, the formulation of Hypotheses and testing by controlled experiment, repeatability and the drawing of conclusions.
What a load of twaddle! Psychology as defined by a physical scientist!
