i mean in terms of natural smell, appearance etc

forget societies feelings towards sweat and hair etc, just for a moment, and think about the reasons the body has evolved to be that way - can we say we know better? really?

so imagine if you could wave a wand and suddenly its was totally normally for women to have hairy legs, arms, etc, and we had shall we say 'strong' aromas - but that we didnt mind or even liked that smell...that we left our skin the colour is in naturally, we left our nails natural looking, didnt plaster faces with makeup etc...perhaps a little bit - but as an enhancement - not as almost a mask...

(by all this i dont mean wild and unkempt looking, and that we stop washing...only that we are not instantly revolted by the slightest aroma of sweat or stubble....the point is only that we dont completly strip ourselves bare)

we would also be allowed medication and lice killer etc, so forget those ideas too...i just mean purely as though it just has never got this way...

forget your prefernces, and your ickyness, and the notion that its dirty (its isnt really when fresh) and what do you think?

would it be better...?

thanks

no
Do you have a boyfriend/husband?
Pheromones - yes. BO - no.
It would away a lot pf pressure for some.
No way. I cannot stand hair/bad hygiene. We have enough products and facilities available to us these days to avoid smelling like a tramp.

I cannot stand excess hair/sweat - I know it is something a lot of people suffer with but I cannot abide people smelling when all the have to do is use deodrant or shower?!
Evolution up the swanny then
People from Norfolk are like this anyway:-)
But if everyone was the same...as in not shaving then it'll be the norm.

Joko didn't mention bad hygiene.
I think nature can kiss my clean and moisturised ar$e! ;0)

I would hate the idea of excess body and I dislike smelling of sweat or any other bodily fluid unless I've been doing something that's made me sweat... I don't mind stubble on a fella though... I'm just naturally a preety squemish person and doing something like you suggest for a week would leave me feeling pretty grim about myself I think.

i dont like it either greedy...because im programmed not to...but thats not the point...i asked you to forget your modern predjudices for a moment and think of us a species not people in offices etc
there was a time only a few hundred years back when it was completly normal and even liked...
I could never not shave. Body hair makes me feel physically sick. I hate it lol
Yep joko and people changed their underwear every year.........whether they needed to or not.
We can't forget though because this how we have been brought up. Sure if these things didn't exist or we were brought up a different way then we wouldn't know any different.

I am positive my obsessive cleaning is though my mother always banging on about germs lol
'excess body hair' << oops.

While it might be the accepted norm in the situation you describe, I would naturally rebel against it. Particularly the body hair thing. Ewwwww....
yeah but now that we have evolved we cant go backwards - we now dont like natural smells and natural hairy bodies much cos we know there are alternatives which are nicer
Question Author
thats the point im making greedy...we are revolted because its in our society - try to forget that for the moment

if it had never become a fashion we would all be walking around that way now, and no one would be any the wiser...we'd probably all balk at the idea of shaving!

but imagine we hadnt weeall...
-- answer removed --
We probably would. I personally think I would still find hair disgusting as I always have and that really isn't something society drums into you. I associate body hair with dirt - I always have and it makes me feel physically sick. Lol
