Geosystem Question # 2
" As Amelia is flying westward across Indiana and Illinois, she begins to encounter south winds and high stratus clouds. The clouds get thicker and lower until eventually she finds herself in heavy cloud cover and pelted by rain. Then the weather passes and the skies mostly clear. The wind continues to be out of the south, but the temperature outside is a little warmer. A short while later, though, ominus cumulous clouds towering thousands of feet upward appear straight ahead on the horizon. She unadvisedly enters this formation where her unusual craft is buffeted and abused, but very quickly she passes through this disturbance and breaks out into conditions of clear skies, colder temperatures and north winds. What has Amelia passed through ? " Choices are: 1. A cyclonic system 2.Convectional storms on a summer afternoon

Any flyer worth their salt should be able to recognise a warm front and a cold front when they see one.
