What's actually happening scientific - wise to the weather .

In the 70's 80's and early 90's , we had extremely cold winters , when snow laid on the ground , sometimes for weeks at a time .

Then we had some years of very mild winters .
For the last few years , we seem to be in the grip of extremely cold weather again

I'm not sure but I have been reliably informed that we are officially entering a new ice age (believe it or not).

The energy suppliers must be rubbing their hands in glee - eh

Some would argue it's Global Warming- hold on, that should be Climate Change.
I expect that if we were to look back over the 100 winters we'd find we'd had a mixture of cold and not so cold winters in a pretty random pattern

Lets not forget our quickly disappearing summers as well, our summer literally lasted a week and a half if i remembered rightly so I would be inclined to agree with answerprancer. Time to emigrate to a warmer climate I think.
