Hydrogen is monovalent and therefore two hydrogen atoms will link together like this H-H to form one molecule of hydrogen.

here is another explaination in case it helps

Hydrogen has just one electron which is unstable (it explodes easily). Its prefers to have two which is stable. So 2 Hydrogen atoms covalently bond (that means they share each others electrons so each has two) to create one molecule of Hydrogen.
